Yet it was without any experience that I wanted to launch Pipou.
The trigger? The birth of my nieces and nephews.
Quite early on I knew that exploiting people on the other side of the planet, very often children in addition, overexploiting our natural resources and participating in the pollution of our planet in order to be the most stylish at work was not really for me.
So when the question arose about the birth gift I was going to give to Aliocha, I immediately looked at what I could find that was eco-responsible and local. As you can imagine, I was a little disappointed.
Likewise, there are more and more responsible brands for adults that exist or are developing: Patine, Patagonia, Asphalte, Napperon, Hopaal, etc. It's rather a desert when it comes to children's fashion.
Based on this observation, I told myself that there was a lot to do!
Because what's the point of paying attention to what we wear if it means polluting the planet by buying fast fashion for our children. However, it is they who will inherit the planet that we leave them. And that's without counting the children who are forced to work on the other side of the globe so that Clara has super stylish but not too expensive overalls.
And so there you have it, I took my courage in both hands, I made a list of everything I wanted for Pipou:
> basic and stylish clothes, timeless and unisex - I love fashion, I have always had a very precise idea of what I liked and I admit that beautiful materials and oversized cuts have always call my eye,
> made from recycled materials
> and made in France.
I went looking for the best French manufacturers to accompany me on this adventure, and that's how Pipou was born!
